Description
SUMMARY
We are looking for Experienced Electricians or Journeymen. They can be a Master Licensed Electrician or Journeymen Electrician. Both are state licensed (where required) or have passed a qualifying exam. Both must have the required experience and training. Knowledge of emergency generator connectivity requirements and  techniques is required along with a deep understanding of separately and non-separately derived systems. We typically work with FEMA and the US Army Corps of Engineers and would work 12 hours a day, 7 days week. These missions can be anywhere in the US or offshore territories and can last for a week or up to 12 months depending on the location and the damage done.
When on a mission we pay for Hotel and Per Diem if working more than 75 miles from home, and if you have a 1/2 Ton or 3/4 Ton truck and we accept that onto the mission we will pay a generous daily allowance. Safety gear including Steel Toe boots, gloves, hard hat, goggles and high visibility vest are also required as well as typical tools needed for an electrical installation of a Generator are needed.  You will also need to pass a security clearance as we are often working of military bases.  

QUALIFICATIONS
Master or Journeyman’s electrical license/ certification.


CERTIFICATIONS
Before any deployment can take place a candidate must have the following certifications in place:

OSHA 10 (Takes 10 hours online but costs $25)
ABC of Temporary Power (Free and takes 2 hours)
First Aid/CPR (Online course costs about $50)
Completed an Anti-Terrorist Course (Free and takes 2 hours)
